The most expensive teddy bear
Teddy bears are everyone’s favorite. They are known for their quality. The most expensive teddy bear is the Steiff’s Louis Vuitton bear. It’s made from the finest fabrics, such as Mohair, Alpaca, Cotton velvet, and Woven fur. They are hand sewn and are finished by hand by talented people in Germany. The Steiff bear was invented in 1902. It was designed and decorated by 41manufacturers of fine and expensive goods. The Steiff teddy bear now is in Museum in Jeju, Korea.
The name teddy bear comes from the former president of United States President Theodore Roosevelt, whose nickname was a teddy. In an incident in Mississippi in 1902, where Roosevelt was invited for a bear hunting trip. Other hunters had already killed an animal. Roosevelt refused to shoot the bear but instructed the bear to be killed to put it out of his misery. It became a political topic. People started to draw cartoons. Morris Michtom who was a Russian born inventor saw the drawing and decided to make a teddy bear. He made a tiny soft teddy bear and named it “Teddy’s Bear”. He also sent a bear to Roosevelt and had received a permit to use his name. Vintage Steiff pieces are often sold on the secondary market worth thousands of dollars.
Teddy bears are made with mohair, alpaca, wool felt, cashmere, cotton velvet, and woven plush. They are made in the 103-year-old factory in Germany. Teddy bears have excellent quantity and last for a long time. They are tested for safety purposes. Children love playing with teddy bears and even sleeping with them.
