Ginger Garlic Chicken Wings



Ingredients for Chicken:

5 pound of chicken wings
½ tablespoon of salt
½ tablespoon black pepper
3 tablespoons of hot red pepper sauce
2 tablespoons of  vegetable oil
1 cup of flour

Ingredients for Glaze:

2 tablespoons of grated ginger
3 finely chopped garlic cloves
1 tablespoon of hot chili sauce
½ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
½ cup rice vinegar
½ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon soy sauce


Put the chicken wings in a bowl.

Start by seasoning them with ½ tbsp of black pepper and ½ tbsp. of salt.

Then pour 3 tbsp of hot sauce. Stir them well.

Then pour 2 tbsp of vegetable oil.

Coat the chicken in flour and then oven fry them.

For oven frying, Place the chicken on an oiled pan and then spray with cooking spray.

Heat oven to 400°F for 30 minutes and then turn them over and bake them again for 30 min.

For Glaze, take a pan, add some crushed garlic and some ginger.

Add 1 tbsp of hot sauce.

Add ½ cup of rice vinegar.

½ cup of packed brown sugar and 1 tsp of soy sauce.

Stir them well till it’s boiled.

Pour the sauce over the chicken and then toss the chicken in the bowl well so that they are coated evenly.

Let the chicken cool for about 5 to 10 minutes for the sauce to soak in.

Serve and enjoy!!
