Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan

The prayers of so many Dragonball fans and all the Broly have been answered. After 3 movies, Broly: The Legendary Super Saiyan is officially joining the canon with the new DBS movie. I am very sure that an incredibly small percentage of Dragonball fans actually predicted this. A lot of people thought the movie would be about the first Super Saiyan God and apparently, that’s not happening …yet. Anyway, Akira Toriyama had only done the artwork for the first three movies so, as forgetful as he is he had forgotten about the character. But now he is looking after the movie and he has assured us a more fascinating Broly.

Recently Dragonball Super had introduced Kale, the female version of Broly from universe 6, into the series and now we get to see how Broly is going to be introduced.

For those of you who don’t know:

  1. Broly is a character in the franchise who is infamously known as the Legendary Super Saiyan. He had a power level of 10,000 as a baby and the source of his legendary strength is due to his hatred towards Goku as his constant crying as a baby wouldn’t let baby Broly sleep (Pretty weird, am I right?)
  2. Broly was so famous in Japan that two sequel movies were made just for him (and now the third one is coming too, Yay!)
  3. Akira Toriyama was pretty happy that Broly was famous not only in Japan but in the overseas as well.

The artwork for the movie is different as well. The color of the hair during the Super Saiyan Blue is dope.

The movie will release on December 14, 2018, and the North American version is said to be released on January 2019

So that’s all we know let me know in the comments what do think about the movie. The link to Toriyama’s article on Broly is down below.
